Dates and Timelines: This series has been in the works for about seven years. It has gone through multiple edits and plot changes, and is just now nearing the point where we can really begin to lay out the real story.
Basic Summary: Anna
Foster is a typically normal kid. Her parents are divorced, her family has
recently moved, she is often alone and always unnoticed. Or
so she thought.
In
reality, Anna is a large part of a much larger story. She has been searched for
by generations for hundreds of years. Now, two opposing forces have found her
at the same time. She is suddenly launched into a world that is strange and
feral, full of creatures who are not altogether convinced that she is there to
help them. She has been brought to Avaria, land of the Horse-Kind, and her life
can never be the same.
On
one side are the Horse-Kind, a magically-endowed group of equine creatures,
most prominently the unicorns, who first brought Anna to their world. On the
other are the Crenarsharians, a hostile people from across the sea who have
sworn to thwart the Horse-Kind in their efforts to fulfill a prophecy spoken long
before by a unicorn who has all but passed into memory. The conflict is ages
old, the demands are brutal, and the journey promises to be dangerous, even
deadly. The best thing? Anna is but the first of a handful of humans who are soon to be just as desperately sought after as she was. Only when they come together can the conflict end, one way or another. As tensions rise and all the world seems to stand on the brink of disaster, the question is not will Anna reach her destination; the question is will she ever get home again?

Dates and Timelines: I started this book about four years ago as a fun, silly idea about role reversal. It turned into more than just a silly story and now I'm seriously considering picking it back up as a children's story. Love those!
Basic Summary: Echo is a thirteen year old girl who lives with her aunt and guardian, Sicily, her spoiled young cousin Raiyna, and her doting but absent-minded friend and cook, Dame. Her whole life is turned upside-down when she is convicted of a serious crime she didn't commit and sent on a dangerous mission as punishment. Her mission? To travel into the deepest, darkest realms of Foggy Valley--where no one else dares to go--and retrieve the missing Prince before he is lost forever. No one expects her to come out alive, but the sinister Queen seems ready to do everything in her power to ensure that Echo and the Prince remain lost in the Foggy Valley forever. It's up to Echo, the jaded Prince, a wearisome dragon, and a snippy tree-hopper to dodge the Queen's traps and get out of the valley alive.

Basic Summary: This is the story of Mae Enz, a girl growing up in 1900's Philadelphia. She is the daughter of German immigrants, one of many sisters, a fighter and a dreamer. She struggles through life as an immigrant child, secures a job as a telephone operator, and meets a man who just might change her life.
